Kevin Cash graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) from the University of Dundee, where he was awarded the Dundee City Council Civic Prize for Design in the Community.
He went on to practise in Dublin for four and a half years with two prestigious architectural firms. During this time, he was awarded the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI) / Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Part 3 Certificate in Professional Practice and Management from University College Dublin. His experience in Ireland included a wide range of public and private commissions, encompassing both new-build and conservation projects.
In 2003, Kevin moved to Spain, where his professional title was convalidated by the Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia. He worked as a design consultant within an architectural studio, gaining valuable experience on public commissions for various town councils, including urban planning projects, a sports complex, a municipal swimming centre, and several private housing developments.
Since establishing Kevin Cash Arquitectos in 2006, Kevin has led the practice on a wide range of residential projects throughout Valencia and the surrounding regions. The studio has developed particular expertise in bespoke new-build homes, villa refurbishments and apartment renovations, delivering contemporary, sustainable design solutions tailored to each client’s lifestyle and context.
The practice is highly experienced in managing apartment renovations within urban settings, addressing challenges such as heritage constraints, spatial optimisation, and modern living requirements. Villa renovation projects focus on enhancing existing structures through sensitive design interventions, improved energy performance, and a strong connection between interior and exterior spaces.
Kevin Cash Arquitectos also specialises in the design and delivery of new-build homes in Valencia, providing a fully integrated architectural service from initial concept and planning through to construction and completion. Each project is approached with a strong emphasis on sustainability, material quality, and long-term value.
In addition, the practice offers comprehensive architectural services for foreign clients in Spain. This includes guidance through Spanish planning regulations, building permissions, and technical processes, as well as coordination with local authorities, engineers, and contractors. Clear communication and a client-focused approach ensure a smooth and transparent experience for international clients undertaking projects in Spain.
